Where to Watch the Big Games!

The Superbowl is just around the corner and on you can find all restaurants that broadcast live sports! It’s easy! When searching for restaurants, you can filter your search results by ticking the “Watching Live Sports” box. Why not ditch your go-to spot this weekend and try somewhere new? Not into the Superbowl? No worries, these locations air other sports too!

See below for a list of our top ten places to watch live sports:

Lonestar Bar & Grill

Right in the center of West Bay Road, Lonestar Bar & Grill has good food and good vibes! Their outdoor bar, multiple TVs and massive projector screen makes Lonestar the perfect place to watch live sports.  Haven’t been to Lonestar recently? Their new(ish) menu has some awesome items!


Salty’s Sports Bar

Located in the Shoppes at Grand Harbour, Salty’s means business when it comes to live sports. Similarly to Lonestar, they also have a gigantic projector screen outside for busy nights! On the inside, Saltys has flatscreens in every place possible so no matter where you sit, you can see the action! On Sunday mornings they even serve fry ups (full English breakfasts) which is just what I need when watching the Premier League.


Fidel Murphy's Public House 

Our trusty old faithful, Fidel Murphy's Public House has been around for decades. Their authentic pub-like atmosphere and fare make it a staple for many sports fanatics here on island. However, due to their popularity it might be hard to find a seat so get there early! You can’t go wrong with reasonably priced drinks, good food and great service!


Legendz Bar & Grille

Fun for the whole fam! Watch all of your favourite sports games in HD at this family-friendly Bar & Grille! Legendz also has amazing happy hour specials! 


PD’s Sports Bar

Like Fidel’s PD’s is a staple in our local community. For over 30 years, this family friendly sports bar serves up a variety of items. They’re also very well known for their chicken wings! In regard to TV screens, PD's has enough to see the game from any seat in the venue. 


Mango Tree Restaurant & Bar

Enjoy watching big games at the Mango Tree's open air bar. Indulge in a good plate of local food or a nice bowl of soup while they serve up ice cold beers! Mango Tree is definitely underrated when it comes to braodcasting live spots. The atmosphere is always great along with their food and service! 


The Bird

One could say The Bird is fairly new on the scene, but time doesn’t matter with this spot! The staff take great care of you and bring good vibes all day long. In addition to atmosphere, The Bird has enough TVs which are easily spotted from any part of the venue. They also serve up delicious cocktails and good food. One might say they have the best poutine on island... If you’re looking for an awesome environment, The Bird is not to be missed.


Coconut Joe’s

Casual outdoor bar with a vast and reasonable menu. On big game nights they air matches on a a big projector screen!


The Office Lounge

Located in the heart of George Town, this spot is definitely a favorite for us locals! Fabulous drink specials and amazing local food, The Office Lounge is the perfect spot. With tvs indoor and on their outdoor terrace, The Office prooves popular for watching football games. 


Bar Crudo

If you’re looking for a quieter spot, Bar Crudo might be the place for you. Not many sports fan use this venue to watch games which makes it good for those wanting to have a quieter experience. Located in the heart of George Town, Bar Crudo is the sister bar to Guy Harvey’s Restaurant and Grill which means the food is great. They also have great happy hour specials and a lovely selection of local beer. Escapre the hustle and bustle of West Bay Road and enjoy the laidback vibes at Bar Crudo!
